Measures OD and wall thickness to ±0.001 mm. Ensures +0.0/−0.08 mm OD tolerance compliance on every tube.
Optical measurement of cross-section, concentricity and inner-grooved tube profiles.
Verifies annealed coils achieve 45–60 HV5 hardness. Applied to all PCC and LWC batches after annealing.
Measures tensile strength, yield strength and elongation per ASTM B88 and EN 1057 for all temper conditions.
Non-destructive detection of surface cracks, pinholes and laminations. Applied to 100% of critical grade tubes.
Full elemental analysis — Cu, P, Pb, Fe, Bi, Sn and trace elements. Verifies DHP or ETP grade compliance per batch.
Dedicated testing for phosphorus deoxidiser content in DHP copper — critical for brazeability and corrosion resistance.
Gravimetric measurement — solvent flush evaporated and weighed. Mandatory for all ACR coil batches. Medical grade ≤ 0.020 g/m².
Detects surface contamination and lubricant residues under ultraviolet light. Rapid screening before gravimetric testing.
Tests tube leak-tightness and structural integrity under internal water pressure per ASTM B88 and EN 1057.
Detects micro-leaks with compressed nitrogen. Used for refrigerant-grade coils where moisture contamination is critical.
Measures wall thickness non-destructively at any point along the tube — detects localised thinning without cutting.

Dimensional, visual, documents. MTR issued. JIT dispatch.
